CONTRACTORS ARE IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING NEW WATER METER EQUIPMENT AND HOOKING UP CUSTOMERS TO THE NEW WATER SYSTEM. DURING THIS TIME YOU WILL EXPERIENCE WATER OUTAGES WHILE THE INSTALLATION TAKES PLACE.
UPON INITIAL INSTALLATION IT IS LIKELY YOUR WATER WILL BE CLOUDY AND AIR WILL BE PRESENT IN THE WATER LINE. EVEN THOUGH WATER MAY LOOK CLOUDY THERE IS NO BOIL ORDER IN EFFECT. THIS CONDITION WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE LENGTH OF YOUR SERICE LINE. PLEASE BE PATIENT AS THIS CONDITION CAN PERSIST FOR SOME TIME AND WILL IMPROVE ONCE SUFFICIENT WATER HAS PASSED THROUGH THE WATER SYSTEM.

The Village of White City welcomes new Village Trustee Scott VanLoo. Scott was sworn in during the Regular Business Meeting held August 15, 2018.

This memorandum is to inform you that the Water Improvement Project for the Village of White City has begun.
Construction to the new Water Tower began on May 14, 2018. Construction and replacement of the new water lines and water meters will begin soon.
We expect all construction work to be completed by the end of 2018, weather permitting.
We would like to ask that if you have any questions regarding the Water Improvement Project, please call the Village Hall at 217-999-6123.
All questions and/or concerns will be directed to the Engineering Firm and answered in a timely manner.
Please do not ask questions of the construction workers. As a reminder, you can address the Board with questions and concerns at the regular monthly Board Meeting scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
We will update the Village of White City’s website (www.thevillageofwhitecity.com) as construction continues.
